Welcome to Paipir!
Paipir Primary is located in Kalalu village, Luna Parish, Pader Town Council. It has a very high enrollment of 1096 pupils with 529 male and 567 female. The Catholic-founded school was established in 1959. Of the school’s 24 teachers, 15 are on government payroll; the rest are supported by parents.
Here at Paipir, we seek to improve literary levels and employment opportunities, eradicate poverty, and foster self-reliance. We seek to develop the Intellectual, physical, and spiritual capabilities of children with and without disabilities by equipping them with knowledge, practical skills, and morals that will enable them to be productive and responsible people.
Paipir Primary School supports many clubs and sports activities, including football, netball, and indoor athletics. In 2014, a deaf student from Paipir emerged to be number one in javelin throw in the National Athletic Meet in Soroti, a completion youth from all over Uganda come to compete in sports.

Our History

Paipir Primary was founded in 1959 by Fr. Malandra in collaboration with Fr. Matia who were prominent missionaries working in the Kalong/Patongo Mission. The school became government aided in 1963, and began admitting special needs students in 2008.

Our vision is to provide accessible quality primary school education for both children with and without disabilities. We seek to improve literary levels and employment opportunities, eradicate poverty, and foster self-reliance.
